The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, the Wisconsin Public Service Commission, and the Department of Safety & Professional Services are teaming together to promote Fix-A-Leak Week, March 12-18, 2012 to encourage homeowners, renters, and property managers to check for and fix water plumbing leaks.

IAPMO Scholarships Now Available
Following up on the resounding success of last year's inaugural competition, the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO), a worldwide organization of dedicated professionals striving to make our planet a safer and healthier place in which to live, will again sponsor an essay competition awarding scholarships to five young people affiliated with IAPMO and many of its industry partners.

How to Find Your Representative

As a business owner, it’s important to know you legislators before you have an issue for them to address.  Invite elected officials to your business to learn about industry and small business concerns.  Call your legislators.  Write them and e-mail them.  Attend a listening session.  Attend a fundraiser.  Whatever way works best, before you get enraged about politics, get engaged.
